The OSS Awarded Honorary Membership to the Animals in War Association

We are proud to announce that The Order of the Scottish Samurai (OSS) has been awarded Honorary Membership to the Animals in War Association. The prestigious recognition was presented during the OSS 2025 Samurai Awards ceremony held at Broomhall House on 23rd March 2025.

Graham Guyan DL, Patron of the Association, presented the award to Ronnie Watt (10th Dan) OBE ORS in honour of his continued dedication to service and remembrance.

This meaningful connection between two respected organisations highlights the shared values of honour, respect, and remembrance for those—both human and animal—who have served.
